My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for about a year. We’ve discussed a desire for marriage and children in our future, but I’m starting to think he might be wanting that now. He keeps making jokes about needing to walk down the baby isle of the store because I might get pregnant soon, etc. Sometimes when we are intimate he places his hand on my stomach and talks about how he can’t wait to put a baby in me and how I’m going to be an amazing mother. He talks about wanting to impregnate me a lot. When we’ve discussed timelines for marriage and children he says that he’d like right now, but he knows it isn’t the best idea for our careers at the moment. I’m currently on birth control, but we don’t use any other form of protection. I’m wondering if he’s simply dreaming of our future or if he’s wanting to get me pregnant.
