I always get guys telling me how I look handsome good and that I must have a girlfriend. So often.

I get no girls. Zero. Sure I may get some meaningless glances.

It feels like you need some superpower or very very good looks. I do also consider myself funny and confident and doing things with my life

No wonder why you get all these male shooters because you can start to feel resentful of people.

no but honestly, you're probably not invisible to girls at all. the thing is that most semi-attractive women have so many men trying to get their attention at any point in time that they don't really need to take the first step. i'm not saying that's fair or that it's the way it should be, but sadly it's the way it is right now. so as long as you don't put yourself out there and try to talk to people you probably won't make much progress, i'm sorry

That's the thing. Most girls will never have to be put in a position to not only feel unloved, but to feel like women hate you just for existing. You can be the nicest person on the planet and women will still sh*t on you or call you an "incel" just for being unattractive looking and/or short.

And then, when men address this problem, women double-down and accuse the guy of being an incel even more. "Women are not entitled to give you attention. Women are not entitled to be nice to you." And so on. This leads to depression, which leads to a lack of self-worth, which leads to anger and resentment, which leads to... You guessed it! School shootings.

So yeah. Having sympathy for mass shooters is definitely justified nowadays with how lonely and attacked men are, in general. And instead of trying to understand that and be empathetic, women and the successful/attractive men only double-down, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

men get shit on for being unattractive, women get shit on for being unattractive. i know the current standard regarding male height are unattainable and i do not condone that but so are the standards for female beauty, again we're equally as fucked.
And no, you are not entitled to women's attention or them dating you. No one is entitled to those things. Thinking you are is nothing but a symptom of being coddled and praised for every shit that you took.
You want empathy but if you don't get it you sympathise with mass murderers here. You're whiny. You're entitled. It's no wonder women don't like you and most men probably don't either. Normal people don't enjoy the company of someone who wants romantic attention handed to him and then fantasizes about murdering kids once he doesn't get it.
I don't know what online communities you're part of, but a genuine and heartfelt piece of advice: Leave them and go get therapy.

Dude most men are completely invisible to women. We’re disposable, easily replaced, and in general not cared about. Try not to take it personally. This is just the way it is.

Don’t put the pussy on the pedestal. Women are not going to approach you and ask you out. They aren’t. That is extremely rare. Look at the questions on GaG from women. So many of them are “how do I get him to ask me out?” They are looking for tips on how to manipulate a guy into hitting on them for God’s sake. YOU will have to take the initiative here. Whatever validation you’re looking at from women will more than likely not come to you. Christ the best compliment they can muster half the time is “you look nice” or “did you get your haircut?” Yeah. That really makes a man feel desired.
