What does it mean when a guy call you small?

Okay this happen to me with three different guys at the gym. when I workout i tend to wear a hoodie and sweats, however I tend to take off my hoodie if I get too hot. They’ve never said it to my face they were always talking to a friend; “she small” or “I didn’t think she was that small” “I never realized how small she is” and their buddy would be like “yeah” or “I told you” . As someone who is trying to gain mass and muscle, I will admit I felt insulted but I didn’t understand what they mean by small, am I not gaining any muscle? If anyone wants to add their 2 cents to make this 1.98 a whole 2.00 much appreciation

How tall are you? Some times its just or body type or frame that makes people think your smaller than you are.

I mean if your like 5'2 and putting up some weight they might be thinking your really strong for being so small. I for one was a guy that could work out and work out and put up more and more weight and get stronger and stronger and never put on muscle mass. Other guys would say things like, I never know you were so strong, given your size. I would say to them, "I am 5'8 and weight 200 lbs what do mean by my size?"

Well, 5'8 is slightly shorter than average, but not small. Nobody would ever believe I was 180 lbs and now at 45 I am 200 lbs. They always thought I was like 160 lbs and maybe 5'7 at most. Then they would say, "your too small to be 180 or 200 lbs, you weight more than me."

I would say it must be that I got thick bones or something because I have not weight 160 since highschool. And I am talking about guys that were like 6'2 and 180 lbs with these cut , ripped pecks and abs. But its just my body type I guess, people always think I am shorter and weight less than I do.

I have even dated women you thought they were taller than me. Until we measured ourselves against a wall. They see that I am inch taller than them, and they are like no way lets do this again. Even to the point that they bring out a level to make sure I am not cheating... they still can't believe I am taller than them. Its happened at least twice to me with two different women I have dated.

As I don't have a pic to go by I'm guessing that you must have a petite frame and under #100lbs with a soaking wet towel draped around you. And don't take their comments the wrong way. there are the big beefy show muscles, then there are the more hidden but equally powerful work muscles. That frame of yours can be tiny but very very powerful at the same time the disconnect will surprise a LOT of guys. I have a few friends that are gals that they are way more powerful than their stature would otherwise suggest. Most of them are farm girls that know how to work.

What's your height. If you're short like I am small might be referring to that.
by the way I'm 4'11" and 88lbs. which is definitely very petite and small. My tits are definitely not small nit is my hair short at all though. My tits are natural FF cup and my natural pure platinum blonde super shiny hair is longer than I am tall.
I also have the lightest brightest bluest eyes.
Us short girls do tend to have much bigger tits and longer hair than tall girls

Would assume that based on your performance in the gym they just expected more volume.

Being strong pound for pound is valuable in most sports. It is probably more compliment than insult. Like when you see a smaller guy lifting stuff you would not expect he could. Simply being impressed.
