Opinion on interfaith crushes?

This is purely for South Asian people. Because we are Muslims Hindus Buddhists and Christians mostly. There's this guy that I had connected with. He looks at me when I'm not looking and we always have this chemistry built up. I didn't know his full name so I didn't realize from his first name that he is from a different religion. And it didn't come up. But he knows I'm not from his religion. I know you can like people from other faiths but what's the point if you're not gonna have a relationship? It's not like it's a purely physical attraction thing too. Like he never said anything like that... Then why let a connection build if you are not wanting sex or want to be with them despite their religion. How can it be fun if you're not getting anything at all?

I’m not South Asian but in America you can date people of a different religion than you and nobody even notices. I’ve done it. Of course most people in America don’t take religion that seriously.

I was raised a Christian and my ex was a Catholic, his family basically forced me to change religions (even tho I’m not religious). My mom and dad both follow different religions and we’re all South East Asians so it can definitely work
