there's not a right way to handle it. if it makes you uncomfortable and he denies basically that it's his doing, saying you're uncomfortable cause of your own perception, and not what's really happening, actually invalidating your feelings, then, that kind of tells you he is not the one for you. he may be a boyfriend and at one point he was all for it, but someone serious wouldn't be able to switch up like that.
If he is being distant, you can pull away too. If he really wants to be with you, he will start making more effort.
Guys don't lose interest. He,
1. Either never really cared about you to begin with. Sorry you were too in your feelings to see all the red flags.
Or
2. You really don't care about him. And it's reflected in everything you do or don't do,, every act you make or don't make. And he's finally decided to stop trying.
