Why is my crush not texting me, nor following me?

He used to follow me back and stuff before i dleted my previous account but now he didn't follow me back and deleted my request. I asked him if he has a girlfriend he said he doesn't then we chatted for a while and he said that i did the right thing to text him and stuff. H eused to like my stories and photos. Also he said that i have a hot body and am sweet. But then when i asked him if he works he said he doesn't and after that started acting cold towards me. His responses became very very short and i felt bad. He also sent me a heart emoji and I asked him what it means he said "to end the convo". I was like ok and he sent me a hug emoji lol. Should I text him again some day and ask him to go out, or is it nor worth it?

Fuck i dont like guys like that like he's hang us girls between up n down.. sometimes he fly us to the sky by his compliment n sweet simple text that made us in awe and melt, sometimes just drop us hard on the ground by act like no reply or short text and confusing things..
I was same like ur situation before.. i follow his flow and if he stop, i stop too.. it means he doesn't want me, and count the compliments or melt me and question things that perhaps to be in a relationship just as a flirting.. i back off back off
