Boyfriend asks dumb questions?

My boyfriend of 1 year asked me when was the last time I received head…… Being that we’re in presumably a faithful relationship, I thought that was the most WEIRD, random and dumb question ever. I was so confused… Being that he’s my boyfriend, why would he need to ask me that…. So I responded “was I supposed to be getting head from someone else?” Like I wouldn’t ask him that bc I’d think his last time was the last time I gave it to him which I remember when that day was… he always ask or says dumb things but this is by far the strangest to me… can someone give an opinion or explain……

Ask him why he's asking. My first thought was he was simply trying to turn the conversation in a sexual direction, but if you're relationship has already been sexual, it is a bit odd. Unless he thinks you've been unfaithful. Or if you've never discussed it before, maybe what he really wants to know is your past and past relationships? But why he wouldn't just say that, vs a more direct sexual act is strange, but many strange people out there LOL. Maybe he's just weird in general? lol But I'd just talk to him more and try and get his thought process.

He's either testing you to see if you're cheating or he is not good at starting conversations because that's a stupid way to start a conversation

I agree it’s a dumb question. I mean is that his way of trying to see if maybe you’re cheating? I’m not saying you are, but it’s a really weird and dumb question to ask someone that you’re in a relationship with & there’s only two things I can think of, 1. dumb 2. Having doubts and coming up with a weird way of trying to get an answer.
