Should I do this or would it be weird?

So this guy asked for my snap a year ago and we played spotlight.

Anyway we talk off and on. The first time we really talked (after he asked for my snap), he kept asking if I could go to one of his football games and sent me a list of games he had near where I lived.

I never went cause I was too shy to ask my mum but I told him I might.

He lived about an hour away so it’s a bit far. I was thinking once I get my Ps when I’m 17, I should ask him if I can go to one of his games if we start talking again.

Would that be weird? We don’t exactly talk seriously but he does try and get my attention a bit (shirtless mirror selfies and stuff which I don’t buy into).

No I think it would not be weird at all. You do have to be ready for possible rejection but you sometimes have to take a chance on things like that. Wish you the best!

Sure, I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you've been driving comfortably for a while. Just make sure to stay safe.

Yeah I have to get 100 hours in the car supervised by someone who can drive to get my license. I’m at 25 hours and I’m 17 in 9 months, which is when I can get it.

I would suggest getting comfortable driving while also using Google maps, if you haven't already. Perhaps you'd do just fine, but I know I wasn't making 1-hour trips this so early into my driving experience.

And if you're not sure you'd be comfortable doing so, it may not be the best idea, I hate to say.

But if you don't have any reservations in that regard, it may be fine. If you want to be extra careful, I'd suggest taking a drive to the place where his football games are held, just so you know your can make it there without problems. Because it'd be unfortunate if the day of his game you tried and ran into issues. You may feel anxious or overwhelmed due to time being of the essence and all.

Yeah I wouldn’t go to his games as soon as I got my license anyway.

I’ll be fine to drive once my 100 hours is up. I’ve been on driving trips over an hour.

Because he lives over an hour away so that would make it pretty hard. He gets his license a few months after I get mine so I feel like it would work better.
