Yes, you should always try.
Yes, there's a good chance you'll get rejected. THAT IS OKAY! Expect rejection - and never let it stop you from trying.
I'm sure you know guys who aren't necessarily super handsome or super fit or super rich - but they ALWAYS have a girlfriend, and often a girl who is out of his league, right? Do you want to know their secret? They ALWAYS try, and they get rejected more in a week than you have in your entire lifetime - but they figured out that dating is largely a numbers game, and that the way to win is to not get overly invested in any one girl UNTIL you know she has some interest in you in return. That means that when you are single, you ask out EVERY girl you can that you find attractive, EXPECTING to be rejected most of the time. But, a few of those girls will give you a shot. It won't always work out, but sometimes it will - and you'll be SO much better off than if you never try.
And here's the even more crazy part: the more you do that - the more times you get rejected and are able to move forward gracefully - the greater your confidence will grow, and the less those rejections will bother you, and THAT means you'll be more relaxed and more confident when you approach girls, and your success percentage will increase! That's exactly how those guys who always seem to have a hot girl do it: they simply ask out tons of girls, learn to take rejection with grace, learn to stop caring about rejection, grow their confidence, and girls respond positively to that confidence.

Now as someone at 39 who struggles with incredibly low self esteem in terms of looks until women rescue me with compliments. I was a firm follower of thr out of my league faith and while I still do believe it is true, whats not true is thag any one Gentlemen given the correct abilities such as charm, intelligence and so forth. Can in fact not only give a women that true sense but a almost complete feel of comfort and thus allowing vulnerability to you. I recently discovered just this past few weeks about being confident and how if your confident and positive almost 9 out of 10 times they will respond in a genuine manner..
The compliments I get although rare literally gives me a feeling of greatness and like I can talk to any girl rejection or not. This all continues to build..
So keel it up man no female is too good for anyone man. We are here to love one another regardless of beauty. It's out soul and heart that need it too not our skin or hair..
Get over you insecurities about other men... you got to be in it to win it. If want someone like that you got to go for it. Women like confident men so fake it.
But honestly know were you stand, because lots of people in dating world chase people that aren't available to them... and they get all upset and pissy about rejection. Just set realistic expectations for you're self.
But if you want a women like that then you got to go for it. I did, and I married her... but she turned out to be a very toxic person with an inflated ego and scene of self worth. But I wouldn't of learned that if I had not gone for it. I don't blame her, I was just blinded by her looks, all the signs were there. But not all are like that and I don't blame women as a whole for one bad apple.
I don't think it matters how hot she is or how many dudes are around her.
You should go for a woman that is interested in you. Not one you have to convince to be with you, not one you have to pretend to be someone else around, a woman that sees exactly who you are, and accepts it. No games, no waiting to text, just someone who proves to you that they are interested.
If you have to try too hard to get her, you are never going to be able to keep her. If you are doing a bunch of extra shit that you don't enjoy to impress some woman, what happens when you get tired of doing all that extra shit?
How about you let HER decide instead of you defeating yourself before you even try.
She's not comparing you to other guys. She's comparing you to you. If you go in with the attitude that you are somehow inferior, it will probably show. Going in all slouched over and staring at the ground isn't going to help.

She might just be sitting there hoping for a guy to appraoch her and start a conversation. And the fact that she is pretty doesn't mean that she isn't a normal person with interests, hobbies, a job, and stupid parents.
You may not have a chance if you try. You DEFINITELY don't have a chance if you don't try! You're making the assumption she has a lot of options. Some of the most desirable girls, though don't have dates because everyone assumes that they have lots of options. Remember that girls are just people, just like us guys! Try talking to her. You maybe pleasantly surprised!
The simple fact that you feel and believe you have a shot and are worth her attention is enough to go from average to attractive.
Also, lets be real, she's a person. You having a cheesy flirty line that makes her giggle is having the same impact as if she had one for you. When it comes to looks you need to reach a minimum of, to be crass, being doable. Beyond that personality is key.
I don't know about you, but I enjoy talking to attractive women. If you're friendly, respectful and maybe just a bit funny, you'd at least have a fun convo, and if you make a good impression, she might introduce you to a sister of hers or a friend. And, who knows, you might get lucky if you show you're confident enough to approach her.
Fortune favors the bold. Don't live life scared of failure.
Chances are you're going to get rejected again, and again and again. Women don't understand what it's like to be the one expected to make the first move and then get turned down over and over so ignore them when they call you weak for getting discouraged
use a cost benefit analysis.
Goal: You want to fuck her
Option 1: You don't approach. You don't get to fuck her
Option 2: You do approach, she rejects, you don't get to fuck her
Option 3: You do approach, she accepts, you get to fuck her.
The outcome of 1 and 2 are the same. You literally have nothing to lose by approaching.
Its not like you would lose much and later on you have closure instead of wondering "What if?".
Also being a stud IS a option you can choose.
It hasn't helped me get laid but there are other benefits like moving heavy furniture is no problem.
Unless you are absolutely sure you are not her type then go for it. You may be the only one she remembers the next day. That is the key, if you are with a girl then make sure the time you spend with her is time she will remember and think about the next day.

As a lot of people tell me, I am really pretty. One guy almost committed suicide because I turned him down, I kid you not.
I would say, if you are kind and not aggressive or pushy, any girl would be lucky to have you!
Well Christ, if you go in with that mindset why SHOULD she pick you? Just relax, have fun and don't go in with expectations. You will take pressure off of yourself and it will be more natural and authentic.
EXACTLY my point of a week or two ago! GGS! Girls are so pretty, guys won't touch them because they feel they'd never have a chance and said girl ends up alone and feeling like she must be ugly!
It's better to try and know for certain you failed, then to be crippled by fear and what-ifs.

As a pretty girl, I can't tell you how much I prefer and love my average boyfriend. Even when we first met. I love the way he carries himself and no one would compare.
Average looks and a fabulous attitude will win out over fabulous looks and an average attitude - in the long run as girls mature. The younger you are, the more they will go for the hot guys based only on looks.
I thought my wife was really pretty and figured she already had a boyfriend. She was not very receptive but I did not give up and later she started to warm up to the idea of dating me.
