I work as a showgirl at a club, I have a client who comes to see me twice a week. he's supper sweet to me he buys me gifts he tips me so well so never had an issue with him! but he constantly jokes about kidnapping me. I'm married so my husband likes to pick me up after work to be sure I'm safe comeing home. I mentioned that to my client once and he asks me sometimes when that will stop. and says stuff like I'm serious I'll adopt you sweet heart.

he also saves my ciggret butts. I don't know how he can even afford all this with me, he works at a grosry store and he comes to see me and another showgirl every week and spends at least 500 a week on us! she's never gotten any kind of creep behavior from him.

am I worried over nothing? is he just a socially awkward harmless guy or should I worry

Look, I'm not here to judge your line of work or you, but all I'll say is that yes, it very much is a dangerously line of work, so I'd advise you to maybe think about switching it up because crimes like rape, sexual assault and abuse are common.

The way I see it, he's most probably taken a liking to you and has become obsessed with you. The guy may even be willing to blow away almost all his income on you, which is what he does when he visits you, just so he can see you smile and spend a few hours in your company. He's a simp for you and I won't be surprised if he secretly stalks you as well.

Keep an eye on yourself and stay safe. When you're in the club or leaving, always do so when there are others around or with a bouncer there to escort you to your car, even if you get an Uber. Don't give this guy any window of opportunity to jump you all alone in a parking lot or an alley. He may not look dangerous, but trust me. The thing about psychopaths is that most of them seem pretty sweet, kind and thoughtful upfront but given the opportunity, you'll be screaming to get away from them if you knew the truth about them. Take Joe Goldberg or Love Quinn from the Netflix series "You" for example.

Also very obsessive behavior, so yeah I'd be a little concerned (even just being so "regular" like that isn't "normal" and obsessive behavior, especially when his job isn't that lucrative). Where's he getting the money for that? Keep the hubby coming to pick you up. The other woman also shouldn't go home alone. Hopefully he's "harmless", but potential signs are there. Never be too careful.
