Is it weird that I still miss him and still want to talk to my guy friend even though I stopped talking to him almost a year?

Well no I didn't ask. I mean once I said that we should stop talking and he didn't like the idea at all😅 that's why I didn't tell him this time...

I don't think it's dumb. You regret ghosting him, and it sound like you're allowing your ego to be the reason you don't get the closure you're looking for from the situation. So you have two options: dwell on it and never know if it would have worked out, or go for it and find out if in fact it would have worked out. If it works out, your only regret will be that you didn't swallow your pride sooner. So go for it, you've got nothing to lose.
