Can’t tell if he’s really interested or not?

I hung out with a guy a week ago. I told him in advance no sex but I was ok with other things. We were making out at one point and he really seemed to be enjoying it, then he left to use the bathroom (I’m guessing to finish) and then we stopped making out and just watched the tv the rest of the night. When I left he immediately texted me to be safe and snapped me. I told him I had a good time the next day and he just replied with smiley faces.

Now he waits to snap me like right before our streak ends and then we snap back and forth for a bit with him responding fast and then he stops until the next day when the streak ends again. He did this a bit before we ever met in person too. But anytime I’ve double snapped him he responds almost immediately. And he’s always one of the first to view my stories but doesn’t respond when he sees it. So I’m not sure if this is purposeful or just that he’s busy, and if he’s really interested or not? Bear with me please I’m new at all of this stuff haha.

Yeah he's interested. But he only does DM. But if he is responsive to you then thats a good sign.

I don't know much about snap. But on other forms of social media when people don't respond to public posts like it or what not... could mean he does not want others to see it.

I mean if I wasn't in a committed relationship with a women and sge set precautions on sex, if I liked her I would still follow and responds to texts. But that doesn't mean I still wouldn't want to get laid. I might keep pursuing the possibilities with you, but if we are not committed then I might be considering other possibilities as well... without advertising my interest in you on a public forum.

What you need to do is break the ice and ask what he’s looking for. You said no sex but you also are dismissing boundaries by not discussing what you want and asking him what he wants. You have made out with him, which is awesome BUT making out doesn’t imply anything about a relationship, it only represents possible sex (that you already said no to) . Has he taken you out on dates? Has he even made moves to suggest that he’s a good guy to date? You need to ask yourself that and then figure out what you actually want.
