What are your thoughts when a British guy constantly sends video asking hows everything and greeting good morning, and updating me how his day went?

Guy met for 2weeks. Im from other country and he sends me videos of greetings when he wakes up, he also sends video telling me he arrived at work and tells me about the weather, he shares updates like he passed a certain exam related to his work and even about his car brought to the service mechanic, share about his dog, tells me he will visit me in my country which i didn't believe even he asked me for possible dates for travel, calls me darling all the time... now the confusing part is, he disappears in the middle of chat conversation apologize after hours and sometimes just read the message on whatsapp and will reply hours later, what is his deal? Is he just flirting?

That is odd. Normally someone experiencing this would talk to the guy about it instead of telling a bunch of strangers about it and possibly even deciding what to do about it based on public perception. It shows that she has no strong about feelings about the guy, and is probably toying with him considering the guy is seemingly doing all the effort here, despite real life interruptions. He probably could do better.
