he says he really likes me and I really like him.

i am very overweight he says I need to stop putting myself down and that he likes me as I have told him this.

i am scared to meet incase this puts him off.

Ok you're making a decision for him without allowing to make the decision. That to be blunt is a bit of a lazy way of not dealing with the situation by sabotaging yourself. Have you never noticed the world is full of larger ladies, with fully functioning relationships and partners that love them. Not only can it happen, it does happen every day.
If you're really worried, pick out your second most flattering outfit (you'll need the first for when you meet). Do your hair and makeup. Get a friend to take a full length photo of you that you're comfortable sharing. And share the fuck out of it. You'll then find he's grateful for the photo and still happy to meet. A few weeks from now you'll thank me when you've a new relationship that brings you joy, and you've got some.

No, do you with a guy? Confidence is sexy! Insecurities aren't. (you like us to have it right?). Especially body confidence with women. Very sexy. There's more to you than your body (as guys with you). Your body doesn't have to be "perfect", but if he's attracted to you, then it is to him. As for meeting, you've already sent some pics, so he's got an idea I'm sure. There won't be anything "shocking" that you have to worry about.

Not every guy is interested in just what a woman looks like. Personally I have found that if a girl has a good personality and a good heart I find Them more attractive than ever. I had a friend that she was the kindest person I ever met. Over time I found her more attractive.
