HHow can I safely get the portion of the electric bill that is owed me by my now former roommate? Is cashapp safe?

How do i safely use cashapp?

We just moved out all of us and they still owe me their share of a bill... He insists to use cash app but i never used it and read bad reviews online.

I've never had any problem with cash app.

I think the bad reviews are because if you do get scammed, cash app won't help you. They'll be like "yeah, it's not our fault you gave ten thousand dollars to a fake Nigerian prince."

Cash app works fine. Only issue is they charge for immediate deposits when they used to be free, and they don’t help u if you get scammed and send people money and want it back.

I heard that if someone sends you money they can suddenly request it and take it back even months later.
