Today I found out my boyfriend of 8 years doesn’t take me out on dates?

i have been wondering for a long time why we don’t go out on dates anymore. i would ask him why and he’ll say he’s tired from work so i let it slide. then a few weeks ago i called him everyday just to see how he’s doing and i noticed that he hangs out with his friends after work for a few hours then tells me he’s tired from work so all he wants to do is stay home. do for a few days i started to ask him why we don’t go out on dates and he’ll say he’s tired from work…. until today. today he told me that we don’t go out on dates bc i’m depressing to be around and he’s only with me bc of my looks. usually i would avoid those types of comments but today i believe him. i’m telling ya’ll all we do is stay at his house. his parents are always out on some sort of vacation or going out and having fun with life. sadly we don’t. i mean he’ll go out with his friends, go out and eat with them but me? no. he supposedly wants to have kids with me yet he doesn’t take me out anywhere. all i ask for is for like some ice cream or go to the park by his house and sit there and drink some beer or have dinner there but i can’t even get that from him. i completely understand that he works hard and when he hangouts with his friends he sometimes does mechanics or helps them build something but bro. we’ll eat dinner downstairs then upstairs we go. and we’ll lay down on opposite sides of the bed and just be on our phones, we won’t talk or anything. and it’s been like this for years. i believed him when he said he was tired from work then i realized him hanging out with his friends and he told me that we don’t go out on dates bc i’m depressing.
