For example, if a guy is intimate (kissing, hand holding, texting, etc.) with a girl he met at work, yet he keeps his dating profile up on his dating app, and constantly views other girls social media stories and pictures without her knowing?

my friends tell me that a guy viewing other girls revealing images or even selfies behind their girl’s back is lowkey cheating. Because he consciously does it and it’s quite sneaky. But what do you think? As long as he isn’t talking to anyone else, or what? Why is he keeping his options open acting a bit single—when he is seeing someone?

If you're not dating someone or otherwise mutually declared exclusivity, then no it is not cheating to date around or what have you.

It doesn't matter if it is new he is not serious about you otherwise he would have respect and delete the profile. You said your in a relationship if he was serious about you and your relationship he wouldn't keep his options open. That's him not being serious about you or your rela and him basically wasting your time.

Confront him and ask him if he wants to be with you and if he says yes tell him to delete the profile. A guy who is in a relationship should not be keeping their options open
