What does it mean when a guy friend invites himself to my house for dinner?

This guy that i work with said that he wants to come over to my house for dinner. He said that he’s hungry and needs some homemade food. He basically invites himself to my house. He also said that i got a nice house. Why would a guy act like this? What do you think about his behavior?

You said friend so that indicates there’s a relationship of some kind and he obviously feels comfortable enough to just invite himself. If you tell him you’re not in the mood for having any guest over, then I’m sure your problem will be solved

If you agreed to let him come, invite someone else too just to be safe.


That is not normal behavior. Either he has no manners or has ill intentions. Better safe than sorry.
