I like this guy and we have been talking and texting daily lately and we have met too when i told him let's meet he didn't even hesitate and said ok and we r in school 🗿umm but i haven't told him i like him and some day ago he gave me chocolates and yesterday he called me his buddy 🤌🏻so help what should I think of him
It is just a term of endearment. You are both young and he may not know what to say so that came out. I would not overthink it too much. All other signs point to him liking you equally as much as you like him.
The fact that you are texting, talking and meeting up points to him having feelings for you. I wouldn’t be worried at all. Also, him buying you chocolates isn’t something friends often do, right?
So, no need to think too deeply into the meaning of the word “buddy”. I still think that is just something that slipped out. He is young and inexperienced with this as much as you are. Sometimes, no matter the age, we cannot find the right words to say.
Just make sure you find time for the important things in your life as well, like family, friends and most importantly, your studies.

He is probably making a declaration of friendship. What else has he said to you? Another way to take that is “I like hanging out with you.” Most of the time, people know quickly whether or not they romantically like another person. You have the basis of good friendship. Who knows what the actual outcomes will be.
I wouldn't assume anything from that, friendzone or otherwise. However, is he fully aware that he's your crush?
