Why he wants to meet me at 11 Pm?

I am in a relationship with a guy for 10 years now. Currently, we are in a pause. He has texted and asked me to hang out at 11 pm, a lot of times. I do not see this time as qualitative and effective to meet. My dad is not aware that I am dating a guy and he doesn’t like it that his daughter hangs out during the night. I asked to meet him before night but he is not making any effort, even though he may have leisure time. Why is he acting like this?
