some backstory….
A couple years ago I had a crush on this guy in my class. We never really talked but he seemed like a nice bloke when we did. We became friends and shared friend groups (still do, 2 1/2 years later). We ended up both liking each other for 4 months, no dating or anything. As I got to know him, his true colors began to show revealing this ignorant privileged guy. I ended up telling him I didn’t like him anymore but we could still be friends (I didn’t want to be but our friend groups are intertwined so made it a bit difficult to drop and leave).
The main point…
Pretty much ever since then he has been really just… mean, I guess? He says really passive aggressive comments (I. e. “females are objects” or just major red pill community typa shit). He likes to heavily implying my inadequacy in the “brains” department (though I do just fine in school); making multiple comments on how I will get no where in life because I want to pursue an English career because I love the major, instead of trying to do something that’s going to make me a lot of money even if I hate the job.
Everyone’s life path is different; our values, our desires, etc…but I would never put someone down because they don’t share the same ones as I. We’re all different for a reason, I mean otherwise the world would be a bit boring.
Anyway he’s just a complete knob and I’m almost done with highschool so I’m just gonna ride it out and never talk to him again when I leave. But in the meantime, any tips? Any explanation for this? Like, is he really still upset from 2 years ago?
