Guy's Behavior

If a guy seems to read you really well, does it mean he's interested or just observant?

I have a friend that seems know almost everything about me. He knows when I'm upset even when I fake a smile. He recognizes my handwriting so he knows when im trying to write an anonymous note. He knows when I'm stressed. He knows when I'm trying to hide from someone. He seems to know my feelings better than i do. He just reads me really really well. I can't seem to hide anything from him.

In fact, I think he even knows I have a crush on him. But if he knows this, he has never made a move. We are just close friends. But will close friends take the effort to really study you and know your every move?

Is he just an observant person? Or is he observing so closely because he may be interested? Or maybe he's showing he cares in a brotherly way?
