What do I do if I don’t really want to live in a city but I think it’s better for socializing?

Just based on when I used to go to work in New York, it’s really easy to meet women or to go to events, etc. I have a lot more trouble out in the suburbs. I’m not really a city person though. But at the same time I don’t wanna spend my life alone, so I’m very confused. And I want to live someplace nice which near there would cost quite a lot. I also do live with my mother right now. I have the money to be on my own. But I’m so confused where I want to be.

Maybe live on your own in the suburbs and go into the city for social events
