Why do some men love bomb you into liking them then stop talking to you?

I had this guy who I didn’t even like at first. I found him alright, but he love-bombed me into liking him and pretended he was really into me. He literally said “I really like you I want to take you out on a date” and lots of other romantic stuff. I thought he was a nice guy. Then when I started to like him back (I said “I’m beginning to like you back as well”) he lost interest.

wtf is up with this behaviour? Why didn’t he just leave me alone in the first place when I didn’t like him at first? Why do some men do this?

Men have to go through about 7 stages of love before they actually fall in love. During the initial stages, he's just attracted to you, and might like the challenge. He might act like he's in love with you in the form of wooing you, but he's just trying to figure out what it takes to make you fall in love with him. And he only falls in love AFTER he believes that you have fallen in love. Once he sees that you're in love, then he rationally steps back and decides whether he can picture being with you long term or not. Sounds like you got to stage 6. Conquest. For a few guys once they have you, you become less appealing. Those guys are bad news

The only reason for this is to get you emotionally wound up and get in your pants. They are simply feeding a desire to be loved with intent of getting laid. It is an immediate Red Flag.

I am not a man but I think attraction has different faces and what one side sees is not what the other side sees - sometimes the sides have different motives or interests.
