In anger my boyfriend said he hated time, hated sex just did it to keep me sweet did he mean it?

He left in anger said he hated time with me, hated sex with me and couldn’t stand me. Did it to keep me sweet

He claimed it was all a lie and he didn’t mean any of it

He wouldn’t really ask me for time at nights - we lived together. He would say come through to talk to him etc and we spend about 3 nights talking etc together.

He started sex twice a week most weeks too and I did the other two and he was always up for it

Did he say this in anger to me or mean it?
