How can I salvage this?

I was talking to this guy I met on IG for like a month… we initially would chat a little on IG and he eventually asked me for my number.

We started texting and video chatting, but sometimes he wouldn’t respond or go days without a response and then pop back up or video call me.

There was a day I sent him a few pics of myself and he didn’t respond so I said I’m gona stop sending them and he responded saying why? Another time, he didn’t respond for a few days so I told him I’m gona stop reaching out to him because it seems like he’s uninterested, he responded saying he is interested just that he works long hrs. I told him that I find it insulting when he doesn’t respond to my messages and he apologized.

We continued talking after this with the same sometimeish responses.. I was supposed to go see him and I told him I’m going to need more effort if I’m gona come see him, he didn’t respond.. so I wrote him saying I’m not coming to which he responded “Wait wait wait!!!” Then he asked what I’m up to, I responded and he never wrote back. To that I told him I’ve had enough and It’s extremely difficult to continue talking to him, if I’m ever in his city I’ll hit up up. He never responded but watches my IG stories after that.

I kinda miss talking to him (I know).. is there any way for me to salvage this or will I just look crazy? :(

You just gonna look crazy, but that being said if you did message him he probably would reply because if you ask me he's just stringing you along.

I dont agree with people when they say they're busy a lot. Okay I understand you can't reply right now and it takes you hours. You know fine but DAYS.
Without even a reply back I'm calling bull on that one.

I dont think he's into you as much as you'd hope.
