I was away for a wedding this weekend and met some new people (mutual friends of the bride and groom) and stayed at an Airbnb for 3 nights with them. I noticed the night of the wedding that one of the guys was acting super polite with me. For example, after the wedding he offered to carry my stuff since I did have a lot to carry on me. He also helped me detach my purse that got caught on to the dress I was wearing. The others around me thought him and I were becoming a thing but in reality I was trying to get him to open up since he’s quiet and introverted. Those guys aren’t really my type since I feel like I have to put a lot of effort into the convos to get these guys to fully open up. So guys, when you offer to do these nice things for someone is it out of politeness or do you have a motive behind it?
Superb Opinion
I’d say 50/50. Me personally? I’m polite. I was raised to help people if they needed it. Even before I was married I was this way. Now that I’m married, I still am courteous, polite, nice, and a true gentleman. 🙂.

I would help a woman whether I find them attractive or not out of politeness there isn't an ulterior motive for me.
