Soooo…I have been crushing on a guy I work with and I think he likes me too. I finally picked up the courage to ask him out to do something specific on a specific date.
Okay, so I asked him at first if he had plans in a specific date and he said “I am not sure, why? What’s up?” I told him that I would like to go to a thing in a specific date and he was like “ohhhhhh okay” and then he explained how he had a lot of different things that were happening around that date with his family, but did not have specifics since family was coming into town and he just was not sure. He said he did not want to say yes and then have to cancel on me.
Then, he said something to the effect, “I don’t want to say “no” and make you think that I don’t want to go with you…that weekend is just kinda up in the air with what’s happening”
Then he said he would check to see what the plans were and “let me know” by Friday.
would a guy go through all that just to be nice or does it seem as though he does want to hang out, but is kinda stuck? Thanks for your input!
