Well he could be a secret admirer and that's just his way to cover it up. Or this could be his way of saying he's not into you that way, merely friends. Either way, it probably seems you'd be better off without him as he sounds despicable and is belittling you. Don't ever tolerate someone who's berating you.
Or maybe he do that after ingoring him, I mean I was chasing him and when he shows to me signs he likes me I slowly start ingoring him and look at every boy expect him and tease him
