We've just started swim classes in phys ed (my favorite time of year when all the boys have to go shirtless twice a week lol 😜). Anyway I told this boy I like that he looked good with his shirt off while we were doing stretches on the poolside at the end of the class. He was a bit embarrassed but he laughed and we were chatting, then like 20 seconds later he just ran off. Literally ran off. Haven't had a chance to speak to him since. Why would he do that?
Shyness. He doesn't have the self confidence to know how to handle those situations

Girls mature slightly faster. Boys don't understand what you feel. I know because I did same with girls. They used to hit on me and I wouldn't understand the signs 😅. Now I feel I could have been nice
