How do you deal with a male coworker that doesn't like you?

I'm a girl and rarely had problems with a guy whatsoever. There this coworker that has this issue with me and i dont know what it is. He can't stand me and is always so rude to me. When a coworker is talking to me about something im doing wrong (it could be tiny) he butts into things and has to add his opinion. He gives me the side eye all the time when im not doing anything and watches how i interact with people. He is close with this girl at work and stays underneath her gossiping about others, talking about me and my personal life that i never told him about. It is so annoying because i come into work and acts like he doesn't exist but yet i stay on his radar so much. Also he says goodmorning to me every morning but i dont say anything back. He'll get offended when i dont say anything and say good morning again.

Ask your supervisor/manager what you should do. Describe the situation and see what he/she says. I myself am a department supervisor and I would want to know if one of my workers was feeling abused, harassed, or uncomfortable at work. And if you don't have a boss that gives a shit to hear you out or cares, then it's time to look for another job. This kind of stuff can fester and get worse if not sorted out early. I've seen it.

It certainly sounds like he's made up your mind about you. Maybe try to improve yourself by caring more, engaging more, doing a project that impacts the bottom line, something. Or just ask him his opinion on how you can improve.

He sounds like a cunt, but just be polite and respectful. Sooner or later he will realize what he had done wrong. Even 5 years from now, he will look back and wonder why he treated such a nice girl so poorly. But you deserve better

You can try being nice and saying good morning back. You don't have too but it's worth a shot. See if that changes something.

i say it back when im in a good mood but mainly i dont say anything because whats the point if he doesn't like me.

That is what I am saying.. try being nice for a consistent amount of time. If that don't work then hey some people are just A holes and unfortunately they suck... I've worked with many.

i've asked and he always says there's no issue. SEVERAL times we had conversations on why we don't get along and he never has an answer. There may be a reason but i dont know but he won't tell me... i dont know what else to do.
