Why do taken men hit on other girls?

I'm really just trying to understand and maybe get this anger out of me. Why do married men hit on other girls and, when they reject them or disapprove the attitude, they say it's all just a joke and we shouldn't take him seriously? I'm literally SO TIRED of dealing with the "don't you have humour?" act everytime I block one of these piece of shit out. I wish I never see this man again, unfortunately he's my coworker so it's not possible. I'm disgusted. I hate people that don't respect their wives/husbands.

Because those men assume they won’t get called out for it, so once they do actually get called out they try to lie their way through it. Always remember in every joke there is some truth, so even if he was joking, was he really joking? They don’t want to take accountability

@callmebruna of course he does because he’s trying to gaslight, so any reassurance helps his gaslighting. Even if they find it funny, there’s still some truth to every joke. It doesn’t change the fact that he’s doing it to be disrespectful
