Why did he ghost me?

So I knew this guy from a mutual friend we didn’t really meet eachother until I started working in the same place he did. We’d speak on text here and there and then one day he told me to come over to watch a movie. We did but I didn’t have sex with him until the second time. We still bumped into each other at work and said hi until one day I saw him i spoke to him but as I was ready to approach him about something another girl came into the picture so I said to him I’ll tell you later on text. After one whole day he texted me what did you wanna say. I was anoyyed at the fact that he took a day to say that so also ignored him for a day. When I checked my phone he had wrote “wtf stop calling” when I opened it I said I didn’t and the fact that you even thought it was me… he left this on read and then from that day he stopped watching my stories even though usually he’d be the first. He ignores me when I see him and basically ghosted me
