I don't have anything against them. But I nobody should be forced to accept you for who you are. If they do not like you then they have that right not to like you. If a woman sleeps around and a guys standard is he doesn't want a woman who sleeps around then it should be no problem for him saying he wants that.

If an employer is trying to run a business and you have sexual pictures posted everywhere online and he doesn't want to hire that is his choice not to. The employer is there to run a business and make money not to accept you for who are. It is his business. If I go outside wearing a fetish suit and now no one wants to come near because they think I am weirdo that is their choice.

No one has to accept you for who you are. Maybe they will process things and accept you one day, but if you are all in their face and in their children face with stuff they do not like, then they are less likely to accept you for who you are.

It is like vegan whose entire personality is that they are vegan. If I talk to him and the vegan is only talking why he is a vegan and how bad I am for not being a vegan. And his whole personality is he is a vegan than I do not want to be near him because all he talks about.

Like a gay who only talks about how gay he is. Like I see a Vegan he has a lot more to say about himself he shows me a respectable person then I might actually accept and I might become a vegan myself. But all he is talking about is being a vegan and if I am not with him I am against I don't want to talk to him.

So if a feminist is going to schools and telling other peoples daughter it is okay to sleep around with random boys at school and get pregnant than a lot of parents are not going to want to accept them for who they are because you are trying to force them to.

Just let someone decide they like you or not and stop trying to force them to. Trying to force someone to like you has the opposite effect where makes them not like you.

I think it's the facebook feminists that give us feminists a bad name. They get triggered by little things and have a I hate all men attitude and it's taken away from the actual meaning of a feminist, which is believing in the equal rights of ALL genders. I think they might also not like the fact that more women aren't afraid to speak their minds and fight for their rights. They're pushing back against inequality and some men don't like it because they like the power imbalance and they don't like getting called out for their shitty behaviour.

I've got absolutely nothing against feminists. As long as they aren't over-the-top. Frankly, that's mostly in the past. I don't really see the over-the-top absurd type of feminist around much anymore. So really, I don't have anything against feminism at all these days.

Do you know what it is? It's that some guys are threatened by the loss of the traditional position of dominance men have previously enjoyed. They feel like feminism has robbed them of something they are owed (a dominant social and economic position).

They come at it from different angles. But I have yet to meet the guy who hated feminists who wasn't ultimately just pissed-off that they were losing the unfair advantages they felt entitled to.

This hatred of feminism is very-much in reaction to the world changing in ways they think are wrong. Feminists are the true-believers responsible for corrupting women broadly speaking, as well as general social norms. That's why those guys hate feminists so much.

You know what though?

Don't even worry about it. You're not going to find a good guy who hates feminists. So if a guy expresses that opinion... he's really telling you something valuable. It tells you it's someone who probably has some very repugnant views overall. The hatred of feminism is often just one part of an overall misogynistic worldview.

So just avoid the guys who hate feminists. Don't work too hard to try and understand them though. It doesn't get you anywhere. It's all just insecurity about the changes towards equality feminists advocate. They don't want equality. They want you back in the kitchen and to be subservient. Who cares why they think that? 🙂

I honestly don't blame feminists for advocating for their own interests. They clearly want advantages, and it makes sense that they are pushing for this, in the same way that BLM/ black people want handicaps that enable them to be advantaged in society.

However, what annoys me about feminists is the often inability to understand that they only want "equality" where it benefits them- without advocating for equality as a widespread goal. For instance, the feminists want the average female income to increase to be the same as the average man, but they don't want to get STEM degrees, or work 60+ hours a week. They want to be generals in the military, but they don't want to be killed/ injured at the same rates men are. They want political office, but they don't want to go out of their comfort zone to get it. None of these feminists are asking for equal outcomes that are negative- they're asking for equal outcomes that are positive, ONLY.

I'm also annoyed by feminists when they can't accept that they have a huge number of privileges, and are willing to advocate that these be removed. Divorces, custody battles, punishments for crime, equal rights/ equal fights, etc. I've never heard a feminist request greater accountability and fairness in these realms.

Lastly, I don't like how feminists use the constraints that men have created in society to abuse/ harass men. Not hitting a woman is a social construct, and men understand that when you're talking to another man there are lines you don't cross OR you could very well face physical repercussions. Feminists often assault and harass men while enjoying absolute protection from physical consequences.

Using misleading/ fake stats is another one, but that's an essay onto itself.

To understand the antipathy expressed towards feminists, you have to mentally separate feminism as a 'movement' from the more generalised notion of "issues that disproportionately affect women". Feminists are seen as having their own ulterior goals and motives, and thus their more vocal critics take the position of "feminists cannot speak for all women". Case in point, many women actually didn't want the vote in America, as it initially came with the condition of compulsory military service. It was only when compulsory military service was abolished that more women came out in support of getting the vote. Feminists make the mistake of believing that since they're (supposedly) motivated by pursuing "women's rights" that they must singularly know what's "right" for women. Which is kinda insulting to women who don't subscribe to the current feminist doctrine. Like, how is a feminist telling women what to do any better than a chauvinistic man telling women what to do? You've just replaced one set of power-tripping assholes with another set of power-tripping assholes. And *real* women going about their own lives are just as quickly ousted for being "noncompliant" to the current feminist mandate as women in the 50s were ousted for being "disobedient housewives". If you want to see the true face of a feminist, tell them "as an independent woman, I choose to oppose abortion, vote Conservative, stay home with the kids, and go to church every Sunday", and watch them lose their collective minds. See, modern feminists don't want women to ACTUALLY be independent, they want women to obey a specific subset of social norms that feminists have decreed as being an "acceptable" version of "independence" as THEY define it.

Feminists hate men, support sexist policies against men, are against fathers' rights to their own children, support men being ripped off/stolen from in court, support preferential treatment for women in the workplace and in college. Most feminists support immoral promiscuity and infidelity. And in case you are not informed of more recent activities, feminists are now harming normal women to support trans women (men pretending to be women) and helping trans people to steal college scholarships from real women, and to beat real women in sports. They are even using the courts to do it now.

But then you have those who, under the guise of feminism, are wanting world order and to rid the world of men and blah blah; feminazis if you will. I've never heard a woman say..."I need 2-3 years off to raise my offspring", "I pms every month for a week and I'm not my best, make mistakes, can't focus, I'm annoying to be around, so it makes sense I should make less than the other guy that doesn't have those limitations." I only hear "I deserve equal". There is no equal in our world, sometimes men are screwed over too, sometimes they are abused. You are only seeing your viewpoint, just realize others have theirs.

I don't agree with the "sexy" part for most feminists... a confident woman is very attractive.

The womens rights struggle was over a long time ago in the Western world, if you are still 'fighting' it is because you want more than your fair share.

Feminism to a growing number of people means misandry, it's supports are ignorant and angry sexists who want society to give them hands outs and special treatment, that is nothing to do with equality.

If you want to be an advocate of equality, great, use the term equality, it reaches far beyond your narrow concern to all people regardless of gender, race, orientation etc.

They discriminate against the disabled such as using their kids to take disabled spaces, and demand that domestic abuse victims take priority for housing over them. Plus there is disability abortion.

They are trying to ban men being men. If men even look at women or comment them the wrong way, they want it to be a crime.

Most men have nothing against equal rights feminism. It's when it goes overboard into taking away men's rights that they have against it. There are so many third wave feminists taking completely different stances on the same exact topics that it’s difficult to even place what they want anymore.

Rape culture, for instance tells part of the story. Listening to the way rape culture is discussed, men are never raped, despite this being completely untrue. Often painting women as the victims and men as the offenders despite evidence that women are sexually violent and men are victims of it. Is 1 in 16 men just a negligible number?
