Is this too soon?

I’ve been talking to this guy from the UK who says he’s going to move to my country to get to know me better and a bit about our future together. Is this a red flag? We’ve only spoken to each other three or four times. I like this man, but I feel like he’s getting ahead of himself.

Yes that's a red flag. People don't usually want to uproot and move Country after 3 or 4 conversations unless looking for a Green Card. Where is he from?

Ah a neighbour of Ireland. I'm not sure, like people here can easily move to the US, so maybe its not Green Card seeking. But definitely suspicious, too full on. If a woman said that to me I'd worry.

What does it smell like to you, desperation? Control issues?

Im not doubting that you are attractive and a perfect partner, his behaviour is just too full on though, makes me suspicious. Usually these things take their course naturally, not forced.

My first thought was maybe green card if he was in a restricted Country, which he isn't, unless maybe he isn't Scottish born national and can't get a Visa.

My second thought is that he thinks you're wealthy and he could live off that somehow. Again it would seem unlikely, but you never know.

Third is that he could be someone who is just clingy and clings on very early on.
