Is it normal for guys to take hours to reply to a text?

The guy I'm texting isn't a big phone person as he only has cheap phone, not that it bothers me.

But sometimes, when I text him we'll have a few messages, back and forth. Then I'll send a message and he'll take like hours sometimes even the next morning to reply. (I do sometimes think maybe he's move on it takes that long)

I know he's probably, busy but surely not that busy or does looking/opening my message distract him/turn him on or something.

Should I be worried or is this just a typical guy thing?

There is a simple way around this, don't text. If he is worth your time, he will talk to you.
