Why do attractive people draw so much attention?

I’m not jealous or anything but I have a friend who is tall and handsome with tattoos. Almost model looking and I noticed when we go out people kinda just stare at him a lot. Women even approach him he told me he even gets harassed by gay men a lot. I’m not bad looking myself I’m smarter I’m in better shape I even have a better job he literally only drinks and smoke weed and women seem to gravitate to him , like what the fuck. He literally doesn’t say a damn word he’s lust laid back and women fall for him. Why is it like this for beautiful people? I’ve come to the conclusion that most women are liars and looks only matter.

Women are more visual than they care to admit. More sexual than they care to admit, and more interested in a mans body and all manner of other shallow features than they care to admit. Hence your observations. They aren't interested in nice guys unless they have bills to pay or are out of options. A good looking face will make up for a bad personality, particularly if the right words are said at the right time, in the right way. An ugly guy with quality features and personality will be seen as lower than a good looking bum with none.
