Is it mean that my boyfriend said he doesn’t thinking about all the time?

my boyfriend of four years isn’t the most affectionate loving type. He tries to be for me since he knows I like lots of love. I asked if he thinks about me all the time and he said not all the time since I’m busy at work (he does solar install on the roof) but he said I do think about you in the morning and after so everyday. He said I gotta focus on work and not die babe but I think about you when I’m not working. It hurt my feelings that he said that like oh work is more important or that thinking about me is less important since he said i focus on not falling off the roof or whatever like being a jerk ya know. You guys think this is mean?

If this is real you're much too sensitive. No one actively thinks about someone else All the time. Not even an obssessed stalker. He isn't not thinking about you but answering truthfully. I can guarantee you do not think about him nonstop either. You might think about him regularly throughout the day but that is not what was asked.

What matters is that at times when he is not having to focus on much, thoughts of you sometimes wander into his mind. And that appears to be the case. Add a little smile when they wander in and I'd consider that a sign of being in love.

maybe he should've sugarcoated it but it sounds like he sugarcoats a lot for you - you've been together for 4 years, he isn't the affectionate type that's fine, you said he tries to be for you which is a very good sign, and now you also want him to think about you more often? he wasn't trying to be mean, he really does need to focus on not falling of the roof lol

I feel the same way to be honest but I know realistically my boyfriend can't think about me all of the time so it is not mean.
