Why would he be following my friend on instagram? Am I overthinking?

We have been dating since November. Today I noticed he was following one of my friends but she wasn't following him back. I messaged him "why are you following my friend (name)?". He said "who?" So I said "I told you who her name is (name)". He messaged back saying "I unfollowed her. I dont know her". Now I'm starting to feel he was dm her or something and don't like it but glad he unfollowed. Should it be a big deal?

The reason I feel weird about it is because thats how I met him he followed me on ig and messaged me 1st until we started talking

Lol so chances are he will breakup w you after a while. Gets what he wants then moves on. Some dude just randomly follows you on IG then you start dating him. Then he follows another chick. I could be wrong but dude sounds like trouble. Was he following her before he met you or added her after he met you?
