I have felt for a while now that my guy friend had something to do with his own friend not talking to me almost seemed like he ruined it for us because his friend is now distant with me there can be many reasons for this, but I just feel like he interfered with us we didn’t even have a chance I think he ruined it so now he’s trying to take credit for us meeting by saying he “tried to set us up” when I met both of them I don’t believe any of it. I feel that he was jealous because his own friend talked to me first and my guy friend got left out, but he had a girlfriend at the time so why would he care about what I do. So I’ve been giving his friend space since he’s been distant I need guidance with this just doesn’t add up to me.

I wouldn’t be so quick to make assumptions. I think what you need to realize is , if this is the case then the guy you were talking to wasn’t a good guy to begin with since he used someone else’s opinions as a way to exit out of a situation. You deserve someone that is going to give you a fair shot.
I know but my guy friend probably told his friend that I liked him and he backed off in a way who knows what was said but that right there can do enough to throw someone else off and back off he got mislead bc that is not the case
Either way, you deserve a guy that is going to give you a fair chance. A man worth investing into doesn’t get scared off based on others voices.
I think your gut feeling is correct, but why not ask him?
