Guys, Sent a nude pic and he’s left me on read? Do guys really only want a pic?

I met this guy, let’s call him Bob, when I worked in his department at our work for a bit. He was super flirty so I gave him my number and we were chatting for a few weeks and both decided we weren’t looking for a relationship - It was just for fun. I thought we got on well, we made each other laugh and I couldn’t hook up when he first asked as I was busy, but we were planning to get together asap. Bob kept for asking for a nude pic, which at first I said no to, but then I thought about it and changed my mind. I’m not a push over and I don’t regret it. Totally my choice. But that was 10 days ago and although he read my 2 messages since within minutes (first text was jokey second checking he was ok but both 4 days apart) he’s left me on read.

I wondered if my pic turned him off, but I saw him the very next day and he was very pleased to see me and definitely didn’t come across as put off! Plus my friend who I work with 90% of the time said Bob passed him in the corridor the day after that and Bob seemed to be looking for me.

He’s a junior doctor and I know he’s crazy busy and this is all just for fun, but was he really only after a nude?
I’m not going to bug him with more messages, but it seems like a lot of effort for a pic especially when there was more being offered. I would really like a guys opinion instead of all the crazy feminist advice by women who can only assume.
