Why does he do these things?

I started chatting to him through mutual friends through an online friend group. He started slowly inserting himself into stuff I spoke about on there which he doesn't really take an interest in unless I start talking about it. He teases me in both a mean and playful way, he calls me a "noob" at video games and tells me I have bad taste in smoothies and other food items. He literally never goes 1 day without teasing me online, I have maybe had a normal conversation with him 10-20% of the time.

He calls me silly nicknames, and names that annoy me, like grandma and spells my name incorrectly (which annoys me and he knows it). He does ask me general questions, like what my favourite color is, what I study, what games and shows I watch etc.

It got to a point where he kept asking me everyday to play his favourite game with him, and he even showed me how to play and is currently coaching me on the game (I literally have no interest in the technical side of the game, I just enjoy the game for what it is). He then asks me sometimes when we will play the game together etc. He will even stream the game for me, so he can show me what he does on the game.

I have honestly never come across someone who wants to show me their interests and asks me to join them. I added him on the app we talk on because he seemed good but he has not sent me a DM.

He seems to like my company which is nice, but is there any intentions behind it?

I forgot to add he tells me "goodnight grandma" and when I say goodnight to him, he says thank you grandma. Why does he say thank you?
