He does this a lot. he's cute and some of his friends even say that he kinda resembles Ian somerhalder but I don't understand the obsession of constantly looking at himself?

If he is rejected sexually he becomes sulky and passive aggressive but won't let go of the girl. He did this with me for 2 years that despite me. not wanting to. hook up, he kept contact with me , even if it meant talking for just a few minutes for 2 years. I had tried to cut him off but he never agreed.

He had deleted me on whatsapp after 1 argument when he did something bad but after 8 months of the argument (we made up after 2 weeks of the argument but he did not save my number) he said he realised that I look out for him and re-added me

He seems like a stereotypical insecure beta. Doesn't like that you're not worshipping him and he just can't wrap his mind around it.

A man should only sulk if someone is dead, or the removing of a bullet/knife/spear from his body took too long for him to fight with his comrades on the field of battle. Or if a rescue kitten is sick. A man should never be passive aggressive.

People like that don't like anyone but themselves. You may be "of interest" to him now, but no, he doesn't like you. He likes himself and you may facilitate that, but when you don't feed into the narcissism then you'll be replaced.

He's either very self conscious or very arrogant. There's nothing good about self admiration to that degree
