Sooooo... I have this guy friend and we are pretty close as we talk everyday on insta. With our convos, I find him a good person but I don't feel any attraction towards him and I thought he doesn't either as he used to talk about some girl he liked. We hang out quite often therefore people think we're dating. As friends there are sometimes when physical touch takes place but it is like for few seconds. Yesterday we had our friends reunion party wherein he was being too touchy like touching my arm or hand or shoulder, sometimes even for no reason. Even when people asked if we're dating, I gave that annoyed look and said no but he was looking at me, smiling and saying no. Today as usual he texted me but I feel somewhat uncomfortable as if it would be a good idea to continue this friendship and hope we never get into anything more... I can never even imagine such thing cause I don't want a bf+ he's not really my type. I seriously want to ask y'all what do you think he's upto? What should I do? And do all guys become close friends with us just to get into something more?(everytime i've experienced uptil now sadly changes my opinion to yes)

Sit down and talk with him over a coffee or something in a coffee shop, basically a change of setting.
And explain your feelings.

Yes, he's definitely hoping for more, and perhaps even thinking that you two have more.

I think that he'll probably continue to hope and aim for more, but trying to go slow to respect your feelings.

While women can be strictly platonic with anyone, in my experience, I think most men can only be casual friends with women. The closer a guy gets the more likely he is to develop feelings toward her.
