Guys, my boyfriend keeps calling me buddy, is it bad?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year and a half. he used to call me names like baby but he’s getting distant. I don't know if he’s calling me buddy to hint me that he’s not interested anymore. is he calling me this to quietly say “i’m not interested anymore” or if it’s to say “hey, your my buddy!”. I overthink a lot and haven’t gotten a precise answer from google, friends, or my brothers and sister.
