I think really everything is different but ends up somehow meeting in the middle, so let me warn you I am notorious for launching into speeches about this, you have been warned lol, so here is what I think, the entire evolutionary reason we exist is to pass down our DNA meaning to have kids, and if you are a man, the most efficient way to do that would be to roam around getting a different woman pregnant as often as possible and then continuing to other women, vs if you are a woman the most efficient way to do it is to have one child every year or two during the part of your life when you can do that, and make sure those kids are protected and prepared to be successful when they grow up so they also pass down their DNA. So it is just totally different underlying urges, I know that sounds overly simple and I think it is overly simple, but I also think there is a lot of truth in it. So anyway given that, what men would look for would basically be "will she get pregnant and give birth to a healthy child" what a woman would look for would basically be "will his kids be strong and smart and will he help protect me and the children." I see so many posts here about why men and women are different, or should they be different, or why aren't they the same etc and I always think, am I crazy or is most of this like super super obvious? I'd rather be with a woman with a hot face but plain body than a woman with a plain face but hot body. Because a woman with a plain body can always diet and exercise, plus become pregnant to have their body become sexy; a woman with a plain face must resort to surgery and makeup to look sexy up there. Also if one has a highly attractive face it indicates they have very good genes, whereas someone with just a hot body might be the result of surgery and/or good lifestyle choices and/or earlier puberty. There have been women that have very sexy bodies but because their faces are so plain or ugly, I can never be fully attracted to them (e. g., Pokimane & Nicki Minaj).

I think guys and women could be different but I don´t think that it´s because a guy works his way and she works her way down. I think there are just different attraction spots so to say meaning guys look more on ass, cleavage and body figure while women look more on arms, face and hands. Because guys rather tend to look for a woman that is beautiful to them women look for a guy they feel safe around.

Attraction is all about reproduction ( whether you think that's your goal or not ) , so both men and women will look for these features , women like arses because it shows good trusting power , men will look at all the elements associated with reproduction.
