Would a guy drive 3 hours just to hook up?

The guy I’ve been talking to drove 3 hours to see me (lives in another state) He stayed the entire weekend, even when his friend had called him the next day and was in a nearby city asking him to come to the club with him. He told him he was gonna just chill, we spent the whole Saturday watching movies, Sunday he left at like 10 am since he had to drive 3 hours back plus had work Monday. He told me that he’s going to come back again and even gave me a hug and kiss. We haven’t really talked much since he left, a few texts here and there but he works 15hour shifts so I understand if that’s the reason. Even prior to us meeting up, we didn’t text all day every day. I waited for him to text me first after he had left, and he messaged me that Monday and we’ve sent a couple texts back and forth since but Do I just go with the flow or things.. or was I just a hook up?
