Why would my boyfriend ask me these weird questions?

He told me a story about how his friend got caught cheating because both women found each other. Before telling me the story, he asked if i have 2 tik toks. Like as soon as he called me and right after the guy told him this story. But he went about it weird. He said “Hey babe! My (tik tok username)” im like what? He said thats your tik tok right? Im like yes…

He said “you dont have another do you?” Um no. He then did a little laugh and said “Its funny bc my friend just told me a story. The women played a game on him to catch him and i dont think women should be doing that.” Im like are you afraid im going to catch you up or something and trying to steer me away? Bc he just kept saying oh id be pissed if that was done to me. Im like that sounds so suspicious and then he got mad saying he was just telling me a story. No! The difference is, you asked if i have a fake tik tok account out of no where then told me a story relating to two women finding each other on that app. He got mad and said i must be doing something wrong bc im acting paranoid. Okay so here is my guess and it is purely a guess so don't get all worried just yet. He either found another tik tok account or one contacted him. He is messaging with this girl and then all of a sudden thought to himself oh fuck what if this is my girlfriend? So he fabricated a story just so he could ask you about having a second account. That way it wouldn't look so suspicious. I would argue the opposite that it is totally suspicious. I hope that I am making sense and honestly this is just a guess at what happened.

When he called me back, the guy was in the background saying how pissed he was for how they went about it. But I don't know if he told him to say that before calling me back. But I have thought about what you said too

Right. And the crazy part about that is, I have thought of it in past situations when he would tell me a story. I have asked him, is it really you you’re talking about? Because he would tell me his friend needed advice but his friend would never ask me, it was him asking me. There was one time he asked his friend “didn’t you want me to ask her for you?” And his friend would confirm it but other times he wouldn’t ask. I just don’t know why he gets so angry when I do this. I mean he's the one who sounds weird

Sorry jumping in the midst of it.. but I agree with Maya. Seems he is doing investigative work to see where your minds at.. but he’s kind of dumb because if you had another account and was flirting with him to catch him up.. you would have already caught him cause why is he talking to a random girl on tik tok anyway.. definitely not to just make new friends and you would probably have already confronted him. So he’s basically telling on himself. Seems like he has things to hide. Even if not that in particular but he’s alittle off.

He tries to tell you a story and you, out of nowhere say it sounds suspicious and blah blah... off you go. Then he gets pissed because you are accusing him of cheating and then thinks you are up to something. Do you not see how ridiculous all that is?
