It’s always been funny to me how a guy will think I’m hot upon first meeting, but upon actually engaging in even the most rudimentary of academic conversations, suddenly put me on some pedestal as if it’s the most novel thing in the world to encounter an intelligent, slutty woman. There are plenty out there im sure. Is this a fetishized thing or what is the deal with it?

My larger point I guess is that there a lot of girls out there you could put in this category. It’s not really that special I don’t think and yet guys act like girls of this sort are some mythical creature or something lol. I’ve seen it happen with certain friends of mine over the years as well
Why do guys act so infatuated with hot girls who happen to also be smart?

Smart people are rare enough. I really enjoy people people who are intellectually stimulating, funny and fun. So what could be better than a hot girl who possesses those qualities, especially if she is heterosexual and sexually uninhibited.
The slutty thing would be a turn off for me, though, because, although I am not concerned about body count and think the idea of "purity" is absurd, I don't want one who is promiscuous and will fuck random guys. I always preferred an exclusive, mutually infatuated relationship with a woman who loves sex and wants only me.
When I was 36, I had a 30 year old girlfriend who turned out to be not only sensual, but hypersexual and orgasmic. She knew how to please a man. We lived together for over a year. Even though we both worked full time, we had sex at least two or three times a day, and often for hours without a break.
Her looks, sounds, movements, enthusiasm and encouragement were so inspiring that I could cum and keep going. Sometimes I came 4, 5, and even 6 times over a period of hours without stopping to rest or recharge. I hadn't even known that was possible before I met her. She made me feel like a sexual god.
Contemporarily it IS so rare... to find a woman who is BOTH machievellian-ly intelligent AND dresses to impress. "If you want to catch YOUR choice of mice, learn to make yourself appear as cheese."
On predatory social occasions, it matters not that YOU think you look good; ... do THEY think you look 'desirable'? A fisherman's expertise is irrevocably determined by the success of the end of the day's catch; NOT the opinions of her fellow fisherwomen... of her 'tackle'--- Build a better 'mousetrap' and they'll compete to beat a path to your door.
A man chases a woman until SHE catches him... whether for 'catch and release' or something more 'long term'. This 'feminist' mentality forsakes the underlying Nature premise of just WHO controls ACCESS to fertilize 'HER' eggs! Males respond best to immediate 'fantasy fuel'.

Very insightful. Only problem is once the unicorn fantasy is no longer a subject of intrigue that satisfies their existential quest for novelty, there’s nothing left there to sustain their interest
Cerebral discourse usually only occurs once the heavy breathing animal passion is abated... my Mentor used to quip: "The FIRST is for 'the thirst'... once the Animae are sated.
Kinda like walking side-by-side trying to 'walk' two large dogs. Until THEIR energies are spent, the subtler aspects can't be given rightfully due attention; and ignoring THAT aspect is self-delusion, like dealing with mischievous insidious toddlers.
The pedestal is a mistake because you'll lose interst once he does that.
But I can understand why it happenes: The hot/smart combo is extremely rare. It feels like something that only happens to other people. Meaning hot/smart AND single is the very definition of diamond in the rough.
But it's good for you, you get to easily weed out the men who are not worth your time
Girls who are smart and hot are not very common, but not too uncommon. Girls who are smart and also slutty are more uncommon because that kind of behavior is generally self-sabotage, so smart women are less likely to choose it.

This is interesting because he reason you state here is precisely why I do choose it. It takes a particularly confident and forward thinking man to actually want an openly slutty girl. I find it may limit who wants me in certain respects but also filters out those whose misogyny might otherwise be obscured with politically correct and seemingly progressive language
Or it takes a man who gets off another men's jealousy. A man who can't say no to his woman. A man who has no standards. Or a man who is interested in using his woman instead of having a real relationship with her. Which is not forward thinking and progressive, despite it often being labeled that way. In truth, it is a very old and very backwards way of thinking.
I mean that we live in a culture wherein objectification is a condition under we as women come into knowing we are; thus it can be the case for some that a relationship with a man feels more connected and like he understands her and accepts her in a way that more closely reflects her own liver experience if there is some element of objectification in addition to love. And conversely that if he doesn’t desire to objectify her that it may feel disconnected and as if he doesn’t truly understand and relate to the plight of her existence in an objectifying context/social landscape
That is all true, but it only speaks to a defective upbringing she experienced that taught her this subpar objectivism is in some way necessary to feel loved. And it can be applied to many inferior ways of loving as well. What you are describing is trauma bonding.
Well, hot women who are intelligent are not a dime a dozen, so it's understandable that a guy would get excited. That said, it's never a good idea to put anyone on a pedestal.
