Have you ever acted like this out of nerves towards a woman or is this pedo behaviour?

A busy restaurant on my street has tons of waiters.

One in particular has always stared, then look away. Watch me talking to other wait staff.

It's to the point where some of the other waiters will hesitate a little to speak to me or look at the waiter in question before talking to me.

He will peacock and preen to get my attention. Just to test if I look at him then not speak.

After a year and a half of this behaviour he waited for me to leave the restaurant then kind of blocked my way and said "hello" and asked me how I was.

And I responded the normal stuff.

The thing is when I leave my house ad pass by he won't be there. But literally every time I come back home he is outside the restaurant waiting to see when I come home.

I also can tell, he's told other wait staff to watch for me. Once, one of them saw me and ran into the restaurant. That's how I figured out he was making sure to be outside when I return home. (I work from home so I run short errands throughout the day.)

He will be on his phone or something but I know 100% he is waiting to see when I return.

I tell my kids don't open for any buzzers (they are old enough to be home) I will use my key.

He would stare down my son and my daughter. I'm starting to think he's a pedophile. I just don't understand this strange surveillance. I can't really file any sort of complaint.

I was mildly interested before but now he is creeping me out and turned me. off long ago.

I don't know of there is some sort of bet running between the men there to see who can bed me. I know men do things like this. Or if he is a pedophile or even a spy.

What should I do? I know nothing is a solution but my spidey sense is tingling. 🕷

There's something dodgy going on there, no doubt. Keep a log of when he stares at you (if its possible), then go to the police after, say, up to 4 weeks. If he tries to come up to you, just go to the police straight away with the log, and you can get him done for harassment.

I don’t know either. Some people do seem to like creeping people out as a way of controlling people. They feel like if you don’t like and accept them, you deserve to be made uncomfortable.

It’s unfortunate some are the way they are. It’s best to avoid them if possible. I don’t know in your country the laws on what you can and can’t have.

If you can’t carry a gun I would recommend having at least something.

That’s super weird. You could make a police report to get it on file. But unless a crimes been committed theh can’t do much.



I would do my best to stay away form that place and be firm with the guy if he tried talking to you that you want nothing to do with him

I can't stay away from the place. It's literally next door to me. He hasn't done anything that would warrant a police report since he is in front of his workplace. I'm in Morocco and they have really good Intel. Spying is very common. I am starting to think he is being paid to watch me along with the street parking attendants. People get money to report on people here so the national police has info. Because I wear the veil I am automatically a person of interest even if I am doing the same normal things as everyone else.

I'd try to discreetly get his information, name, address, etc, so if he pulls something, you'll be able to pass it on to the authorities. Other than that, I'm not sure I'd do anything else just yet.

'I'm serious -- he's been on the cover of some of those bodybuilding magazines! He's so hot it's just unbelievable... but he's got a temper... I guess the girl he was dating a couple of years ago had this weirdo who was looking in her windows at night, and he went over there and just beat the crap out of him... giggle! No, my kids are objectively good-looking kids. If you take a nother look at what I wrote he has been staring at me. What I didn't like is that he also started staring at my kids.

I am a single mom so I don't date for my own reasons. I especially wouldn't date anyone who shows a very keen interest in my kids.

No, I know it doesn't. But he was watching my kids, especially my son, so hard. No I don't know any mafiosos. Very bizarre behaviour.

I always get a good laugh out of women who talk about men peacocking. Women peackock in their own way, but to a much greater extent than men do. Too funny.
